"IAC Radio"

"Dani comes across to me as an artist who has a deep understanding of music. While many have the talent, Dani also appears to have the ability to formulate it and package it in a strong and commercial way. Her beautiful voice is strong in confidence but no arrogance. My money is on this girl doing something very big in music." - Raymond Porter - IAC Radio

Feeling a bit camera shy

Born in California and raised around the world, Dani Desio began her musical journey at an early age. Classically trained on the violin since the age of 5, she started writing and creating her own music in her early teens. After several years of performing for friends and at small venues, she moved to London. There she worked with producer and engineers Mick Dolan, John Broomhall and Matt Clifford, all of whom have credits including Mick Jagger, Steve Winwood, Jim Capaldi, the Rolling Stones and more, to create her first fully engineered recordings.

Growing in popularity, she relocated to Nashville with the hopes of improving her craft. Once in the land of the singer songwriter, she quickly found herself writing and performing with some of the wonderful talents of the local scene. While in Nashville, she finished several more demo sessions and played at a variety of venues. Some of the writers she has worked with include Brian Maher ("You're Like Coming Home" by Lonestar, "Findin' A Good Man" by Danielle Peck), Natalie Howard (Top 10 Artist on Australian country radio), Flower Sumida, and Gentry Counce.

As a member of ASCAP, she began her own publishing company, Jade Horse Publishing, for her own music as well as with eventual hopes of aiding in the development of other talents. Dani is currently living and performing in the Los Angeles area.
