Dublin singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Daniel John Paxton has shared the first of a series of solo recordings made in his home over the past few months.
‘Morning Crow’ finds the former front man of cosmic-Americana rockers Buffalo Sunn in more stripped back territory. Embracing his folkier side, Paxton’s touching, bittersweet lyricism is given plenty of room to breathe in this short acoustic number.

Bio
Dublin born native Daniel John Paxton has been writing songs since the early age of 11. Having been in bands since he was 15 he tried his hand at most instruments, with a love for drums picked up the sticks as well as guitar and has played both in various bands throughout his career.
As a songwriter he has written all the songs for and played drums and guitars in following bands Mainline, The Brothers Movement, Sweet Jane & Buffalo Sunn. With Releases on Rocket Girl in the UK and Reekus Records he has toured the UK, Europe and the United States. Working with Producers Ryan & Paul Cobb (War on Drugs) Pat McCarthy (U2, REM, Waterboys) and Joe Chiccarelli (My morning jacket, Frank Zappa) along his musical journey.
Now a solo artist he brings his twist on Indie /Americana /Alt Folk with a love of reverb, harmonies and old synths. Currently playing with a backing band he aims to bring the sounds he created in his head across to the listener.
