Singer-songwriter born and raised in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
Daniel Lima started out his musical journey back in 94, hitting the road with his first band.
As a member of some other local groups, his voice, guitar and songs have been recorded on a few albums. He's toured in Brazil and Europe, performed at some well known brazilian talk shows, had one of his songs placed on a soap opera's soundtrack and also got some nationwide radio airplay.
In 2009 Daniel left his home country and moved to New York City in order to study and practice the arts of audio engineering and music production. For two years he was far from the stages but closer than ever to songwriting, as a result of the close experience with so many artists and producers.
And even being back to Brazil in 2011, he kept writing and producing his own material.
The following 3 years were spent between Belo and NY, so he could finish recording the “Inside My Dreams” tracks.
This album was followed by several other singles and also a cover album.
After taking his current show to New York and Portugal, Daniel Lima carries on performing in Brazil, at rock/folk venues and festivals.
A brand new album of originals, “Another Place I Can Go”, has just been released.
