Bio
- Daniela Carpio was born in Guatemala City. At a very early age she develops her creative interest towards art and music. At the age of 14, she composes her first song and develops aptitudes with the guitar and piano, participating in talent shows, theatrical plays and international poetry contests. She also embarks into the acting and modeling scene.
- She records her first demos with German Giordano and Jorge Estrada, well known producers in the Central American scene. She begins her musical career and starts to explore the art of composition. She recieves singing lessons and scenic expression classes with the Mexican teacher Willy Gutierrez, who is well known for the t.v. program La Academia, on TV Azteca.
- In 2003 she travels to Panama were she studies Communication, and works as a model and t.v. host. During her stance in the country, she continues forming her musical aptitudes with the well known opera singer Razni Kant.
- In 2007 she represents her university in the Panama Song Inter University Festival, and is nominated as composer and singer. That same year she graduates from the University with Magna Cum Laude honors, and decides to return to Guatemala.
- In her return to Guatemala in 2008, she works with Eduardo "Ronxxx" Santella, on various songs like "Give Away" and "Closer to me", recording under the Electronic genre.
- That same year, Daniela performs as the opening act for the "Amigos Invisibles" concert.
- 2009, represents a year of diversity for Daniela, since she opens FEBOS PRODUCTIONS, with Giancarlo Puccini and Oscar Ortega, a company that tries to create an international platform for Guatemalan artists. She also is nominated as Save the Children`s ambassador, she focuses on live presentations, and the recording of her first full album.
- Her album S.U.P.E.R. is released november 26, 2010 with very good critiques. Her first two singles "Timbaolize" and "Back to Roots", are playing in Guatemala´s most important Radio Stations.
- That same year, Daniela is nominated as Guatemalan "Pop Star", award given away by "Nuestro Diario" newspaper.
- In 2011, she is chosen by MAXIM (Latin Edition) to be a part of ther January Issue, being the first guatemalan to appear in the magazine.
- In May of this year, she is approached by Pepsi Guatemala to be the host of the Pepsi Music Challenge in Guatemala; which, was broadcasted nationwide as a 4 episode series.
