Your Turn

Written By: Daniel Chapman

There's a light from the sky and it's shining down. I haven't spent much time trying to figure it out. But don't worry, I'm in no hurry to leave. Becuase there's so much beauty all around me.

But it's your turn right now, so look up instead of down at the ground and you might find love inside of a stranger's smile.

It's so easy to feel sorry for yourself. When there's no one around to ask for help. So stop screaming if you believe in me. There is hope all around it's just sometimes hard to see.

But it's your turn right now, so pick yourself up off the ground and you might see happiness is right in front of me.

It's your turn right now, so look up instead of down at the ground and you might see the answers to the questions that you seek.

Grey Skies

Written By: Daniel Chapman

I just want to fall asleep underneath these grey skies and let every single rain drop fall into my eyes.

Wash out all the pain and suffering, that they've seen. Cleanse all of my dreams that feel like they are now dying.

I just want to take a walk out in the rain and maybe you'll come too. We can talk about all the crazy shit that we've been through.

I'm leaving tomorrow, I've got to get out. I'm headed for the hill country and I don't want the city life not now.

The Answers

Written By: Daniel Chapman

Don't tell me something in my eyes has changed. Don't you think I see everything looks so damn strange. So when you see me walking by and I don't have on a smile, just give me a little bit of time and I'll come around after a while.

Cause something is wrong these days and it feels as if everyone has fallen away. When all I want is to go back to the old ways.

Don't you think I know there is something wrong. Won't you help me to find the answers.

Don't tell me that the whole world is covered in snow. Don't you think I know it's so hard for it's warmth to glow. Making it's heart so sufficated and all of it's love is so fucking frustrated.
