With influences of Barenaked Ladies, Civil Wars, Dave Matthews, Black Crows, Bon Jovi, and Elton John, with a splash of country - The eclectic song writing moves through soft ballads driving rock tunes and epic piano driven tunes.
I've been singing since kindergarten, dancing as long (retired ballet dancer), and acting on the side. I'm a self-taught guitarist and pianist, who studied music composition in the short time I spent in college. Music scores include the Shedd Aquarium, various theatrical shows and two films, with a long-time project of a stage musical always in the works.
Personal friends and influences in the Chicago music scene are Jeff Brown, Matthew Morgan and the Lost Brigade, Goodbye Home and other Chicago Acoustic Underground artists.
