Daniel Duncan's roomsforghost(s)

In 2008 singer somgwriter Daniel Duncan, also known as roomsforghost(s), formed the backing band Streetlight Cadence to bring something soulful and fresh to the beach crowds of Honolulu, HI. What started out as a desire to merge classical music influences like Bach and Handel with indie rock performers like Arcade Fire, Beach House, and The Killers soon took an interesting perspective when the electric sounds were scrapped for an all acoustic interpretation. In early 2009 Daniel began playing his catchy songs with violinist Jonathan Franklin and soon brought in Hawaii's most accomplished prodigy accordion player Jesse Shiroma. This trio produced a self titled EP and set the Honolulu Arts crowds a blaze with energetic street performances and sing-a-long club gigs for the better part of a year before bringing in California cellist Brian Webb to take the sound to a whole new level. Recently Texas guitarist Robby Hummert has joined the fun and helped to take the sound to new sohisticated places. The best is yet to come for Daniel and Streelight..
