Daniel Hart

BandPopRock

Spiritual, intelligent, harmonic, energised, pop/rock, which aims lyrically to define where good love can be found and the human spirit can blossom.

Biography

Daniel Hart spent much of his twenties, performing in the West End and on historic British Television drama, receiving rave reviews.
The Daily Telegraph remarked on his performance as Taplow, in The Browning Version; “Hart is astonishingly convincing!”

It was during his time on stage in The West End and the surrounding pubs clubs and party scene that much of the material for his debut album “Daniel Hart and The Chaos Report” came about. Coming from the friction between artistic aspirations, cultural identity and the struggle between love and the ego.

Daniel wanted to be able to meet a time when he was able to commit himself to what he truly cherished, the desire to manifest an album of material.

Writing the music for his performance as the Dylanesque front man in 2007’s BBC sitcom 'Love soup', which was described by David Renwick, writer of TV smash ‘One Foot In The Grave’ as 'just uncanny', this was the moment to jump in to another realm of the arts.

With the support of the production team, Joe Public, the album was laid down between 2006 & 2007 and around it he formed the group ‘Chaos Report’. Their material has been praised as 'exceptional' by Charlie Gillett, of BBC Radio 2’s World Music Programme, traversing the spiritual and physical, the temple and the dance club.

Chaos Report have been compared to Elton John, Prince and Rabbi Yehuda Ashlag. The Zohar is as an integral part of their performance and they seem to be on a mission to elevate, all at once, spirituality and tough gorgeous, rock n roll!

Their debut album is due for release this year.

Dinosaurs

Written By: Daniel Hart

The phone line to G-d
Breaks up when I fall in love.
No better then anyone
But I am here to help become one

Like Elvis and Spiderman
Dipping below darkness
Falling by the wayside
Everyone got so high
Now they're mourning soldiers
But their falling way down
Like the dinosaurs did

We journey’ d from so far away
Floods and fire on our tail
I’m so afraid, I'm gonna fail
If I spend life chasing my tail

Like Elvis and Spiderman
Dipping below darkness
Falling by the wayside
Everyone got so high
Now their mourning soldiers
But their falling way down
Like the dinosaurs did

Oh

Release

Written By: Daniel Hart

I could try getting older now.
I could try getting older.
I could try getting older now.
I could try getting old.
But it won't work, it won't work.
That palpitation that stresses you out, is just a little diamond.
A little diamond being cut in your heart, live in a river of time.
Where there's love in your heart, though there's lust on your mind.

Please just release me and sorrows will cease.
No things won't be easy, they weren't meant to be.
Please just release me and sorrows will cease, sorrows will cease.

I've never been one to believe in conspiracy theory.
But there's something I find in the heart and the mind of the loony, that yearns to be free, from society's gaze.
So when you turn around and say that this time you will leave me.
I'm always prepared you see.
Because my life will release me.
And my spirit will fly, right in to the sky.

Please just release me and sorrows will cease.
No things won't be easy, they weren't meant to be.
Please just release me and sorrows will cease, sorrows will cease.
