I Get a Kick Out of You

I Get A Kick Out of You - by Daniel MacNeil

I've never met you, but I love you.
I don't even know your name.
These feelings I have are completely new.
Every time you kick, I get a kick out of you.

I've just sat down and began to think.
Should I paint your room blue or should I paint it pink?
Dresses, Dolls, Frilly things like that?
or some bluejeans and a cowboy hat?

It's you who's making me settle down.
I guess it's time that I stopped running round.
Gone are those days when I was wild and free.
'Cause pretty soon you'll be sitting on my knee.

People say your mom has a twinkle in her eye.
You and I know the reason why.
Her and I are so, so proud.
whoever said that three's a crowd ?

Every time you kick, I get a kick out of you.

Jamie's Tune

I thought I'd try my hand at writing a fiddle tune for my Uncle.
