Bio
Daniel Mimra is a cosmopolitan.
Born in Europe, he grew up in West-Africa where he encountered two completely diverse cultures that influenced his music and life.
He gained his recording experience in prestigious studios as far apart as Manchester, Cologne, Munich and even Hong Kong. This broad spectrum of experience makes his music very accessible and tangible.
During the recordings in Manchester, Daniel got to know his current live technician Arny Sage, who accompanies him together with musicians who have already supported artists such as Michael Jackson, Santana and Alicia Keys.
2003/04 Daniel Mimra tours with his band through Europe and plays support for Roachford.
He performed several TV and radio shows (NBC, ORF) and appeared in various newspapers and magazines (Kronenzeitung, Rundschau, Korrekt).
After very successful recordings with UK-producer Lindsay Edwards (Sting, Simply Red, Emma Bunton, The Corrs) beginning of 2006, Daniel is now working together with Canada-based top-producer Dave Thompson (remixes for Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Craig David, Whitney Houston, Tears For Fears).
