KEROSENE DREAMS - 2007
Daniel Norgren’s first released album came out in January 2007. It contains 15 gypsy/cabaret/country ballad/circus flavored songs written by Daniel who also plays every instrument himself, except for violin. He used some homemade / modulated instruments, among them the big Horn-organ and an acoustic bass built from two guitars.

OUTSKIRT - 2008
The second album was recorded with borrowed musicians from bands like Kamchatka, Rambling Nicholas Heron and Filipsongs.?? “Most of the gear, microphones and recording boxes that we use in the studio are old and sometimes quite unreliable which affects the sound and feeling in just the way I want.?Outskirt was recorded with a full band and the opening track “Who’s knocking” was recorded live and put down on the first take. We tried to treat all songs like this, with a short take-off.

HORRIFYING DEATHEATING BLOODSPIDER - 2010
This third Daniel Norgren album is the absolutely finest and rawest so far, according to himself.?The 12 recordings are mostly done with the great one-man band consisting of Daniel Norgren on drums, guitar and vocals and Pelle Nyhage at Algorythm´s old Fostex tape machine, though all the additional instruments are also played by Daniel, except the ones mentioned in the cover.?One of the songs was recorded in Daniel´s home in the swedish woods on a cassette deck with the original plastic microphone that came with it from a flea market.??The release date for Horrifying Deatheating Bloodspider will be on the 8 th of October 2010.

Bio

Swedish born Daniel Norgren is a unique character on the alternative music scene with his raw one-man garage band. His music is rough and soulful with ways in the expression that could be traced back to the pre-war blues and gospel, early garage rock and jazz. He jumps ruthlessly between genres and moods but will not call himself a Bluesman, rather more of a musical Swiss army knife.

“This is not just a one-man band in the ordinary style. This is almost a full drumset, a wild blues guitar driven by a self hypnotized man and a voice that blows your hair off. Daniel Norgren truly is a remarkable composer and an irresistible performer.”
