"This is one of the best, most catchy and adrenaline filled fun songs I have heard in a long time. It is brilliant how it goes from acoustic to electric at the beginning. The riffs are strong throughout... You have a hit on your hands with this one and I will keep my eyes on you..." Grandma’s Box Of Memories tells the story of life filled with special moments shared with loved ones and of course sadness. In the end all we are left with is a box of belongings , sentimental mementos of someone’s entire existence.

Gordon wrote this song about 6 months before his Grandma passed away. His Grandma played a big part in his life and they shared a special bond of friendship. He told her about the song and hoped that she would be able to hear the finished recording someday, but that never happened. Gordon says his Grandma would have been honored and proud of this musical tribute. I could relate to the lyrics as my own Grandma had lived in an institution and had alzheimer’s disease before she passed away. They were both great ladies deserving to be remembered in song. I think anyone who has ever lost someone they loved and has had to go through a lifetime worth of belongings will be able to relate to this song.
