Lyrics

Mind of a Child

Written By: Danio Lewis

What happened to the person I was as a child,
Such a time of sweet innocence,
But when we grow up, we tell ourselves we’ll have to hold on.

So many twists and so many turns,
That life will bring to each one of us,
Forces us all to make the many changes in our lives,
Once I had a,

CHORUS I
Mind of a child,
Worry-free lifestyle,
Mind of a child,
Come back to me.

Now I deal with, the problems of life,
Money, love, and all the good byes,
I never had to think, never had to make anything seem right…
Don’t think I had, to show that I cared,
Cared for things that made me feel,
Feel the way I wouldn’t if I still had the mind of a young one,
Once I had a,

CHORUS II
Mind of a child,
Worry-free lifestyle,
Mind of a child,
Come back to me.

Now, I try,
To feel,
Like my life has meaning,
Never stop dreaming,
Take what I have and live…

No more simple, things come my way.
Things that take a whole lot of thought.
Sometimes I wish, my troubles would just go far away,
Once I had a,

CHORUS III
Mind of a child,
Worry-free lifestyle,
Mind of a child,
Come back to me.

Life's Not A Lie

Written By: Danio Lewis

Asked myself once,
Asked myself why,
If I'll see another day go by,
That people question if they're gonna,
Live out a lie - Just who am I?

I look in your eyes,
No need for disguise,
You are who you are,
But that only goes so far ,
It;s something you have to connect to, Put all things aside,
What do you live by?

CHORUS I:
Life's not a lie...
It's truth by design...
You simply don't have time to wonder,
Don't want you to die, Living a lie...

When you were young,
You were taught many things,
Sometime those things,
Make you want to believe,
That you have to make people,
Believe that you are ... someone you aren't...

Already too much,
Untruth in the air,
That makes for a world,
Completely unaware ...
That they've fallen victim to others,
What's left of your pride, you won't be denied...

CHORUS II:
Life's not a lie...
It's truth by design...
You simply don't have time to wonder,
Don't want you to die, Living a lie.

(Instrumental)

Stand up for yourself,
There's no need to hide,
Just go the way in life,
That you feel satisfied...
I promise it'll be worth it,
Don't ask yourself why...
It is a lie?
A lonely cry...

CHORUS III
Life's not a lie ...
Truth by design ...
You simply don't have time to wonder, Wonder what your life would be...
Don't want you to die, Living a lie...

CHORUS REPEAT
Life's not a lie...
It's truth by design...
Life's not a lie.

It's My Saturday Night

Written By: Danio Lewis

You want to believe,
That you know me,
And that's just fine...
But please, I want you to see,
I'll always be,
a crazy guy ...
Oh hey, hey now...

I know you like me,
And I do like you,
But let me just say
It's in a friendly way.
Don't try,
Anymore on me,
I'm not free at the end of my week,

CHORUS I
Oh hey, hey now, it's my Saturday night.

I do what I do,
I won't lie to you,
Just the way it's been,
I really just want you to see,
That you deserve better than me...

CHORUS II
Oh hey, hey now, it's my Saturday night.

I'm just asking for, oh
This one night,
Told you this before,
I want this time,
It's gonna be alright.
Oh, just give me the night.

(Piano Instrumental)

Don't mean to be mean,
It's just my routine,
And I want you to know,
Can't come between the times I plan,
You're gonna learn,
Just who I am...

CHORUS III
Oh hey, hey now, it's my Saturday night.

I'm just asking for, oh
This one night,
Told you this before,
I want this time,
It's gonna be alright.
Oh, just give me the night.
I'm gonna let you do, oh
What you like,
It's really up to you, just
Not tonight.
I don't have to explain,
When there's nothing to gain, Oh here I go again...

CHORUS IV
Hey now, it's my Saturday night,
I never said I want you on, on my Saturday night.

(Instrumental )

I'm just asking for, oh
This one night,
Told you this before,
I want this time,
It's gonna be alright.
Oh, just give me the night.
I'm gonna let you do, oh
What you like,
It's really up to you, just
Not tonight
I don't have to explain,
When there's nothing to gain, Oh here I go again...

CHORUS V
Hey now, It's my Saturday night,
I never said I want you on, on my Saturday night.
I never said I want you on, on my Saturday night.

Johnny In Hollywood

Written By: Daniel Schenek

VERSE I

Never said I want
Never said I needed
All this on my mind
I'm not hard to find
Every time I called
Every time I wanted to talk
You just messaged me
Not sayin’ much
What do you need
Thought you had it all

CHORUS I:
Johnny in Hollywood
What were you lookin’ for
Johnny in Hollywood
You never, said goodbye

VERSE II

Everybody wants
Everybody’s needin’
This little thing called love
It’s hard to find, all the time
All you said to me
All you said was much like TV
Is it who you are
Or is it from, your beautiful heart
Thought you had it all

CHORUS II:

Johnny in Hollywood
What were you lookin’ for
At Highland and Hollywood
You never, said goodbye

BRIDGE I

This is my heart
And now it’s bleedin’
Now were apart
What happened to this amazing start

(Instrumental)

BRIDGE II

You left a mark
And you ended up leavin’
Left in the dark
Where did I go wrong
We just hit a wall
And now I ask – I ask that you call – ohhh

CHORUS III:

Johnny in Hollywood
What were you lookin’ for
Johnny in Hollywood
You never, ever said goodbye

CHORUS REPEAT:

Johnny in Hollywood
What were you lookin’ for
That night in Hollywood
You never, said goodbye
