Biography

Dan Molson is a great songwriter offering his music to the next hit maker. He is influenced by great classic rock from CCR, The Eagles, The Beach Boys to the R&B artists of old.
Dan Molson played bass and vocals for The Journeymen, who found success in their home city of Brockville, Ontario. The band plays on since Dans' departure Jan 2009. He left the band because he was tired of playing covers in smokey bars, and wanted to seek out original music to blend with a great live show. He is currently developing The Electric Tramps to bring his original music to the world.
Until the Tramps get off the ground, Dan is building his songwriting skills, and seeks a publishing deal.

Lyrics

So Fine

Written By: Dan Molson

Verse 1
The lights of red and blue look brighter in your eyes.
Your smile means the world to me, and for you I'd walk a mile.
There are a lot of empty lives, so many lost and cryin'.
I think we're pretty lucky babe that our world has been so kind.

Chorus
I think we're so fine. I think we're so fine. Baby, I think we're so fine. I think we're so fine.

Verse 2
I always think of you when life gets hard to take.
They said only fools rush in and a life we'd never make.
But as the years go by we sure have proved them wrong.
I know we were meant to be,
and i'm glad we were so blind.

Chorus
I think we're so fine. I think we're so fine. Baby, I think we're so fine. I think we're so fine.

Bridge
Life with you is true, darlin' you know I ain't lyin'.
The bumpy road left us hurt, made us laugh, had us cryin'.
I wanna spend the rest of our lives livin' day to day.

Solo

Chorus
I think we're so fine. I think we're so fine. Baby, I think we're so fine. I think we're so fine.

Summer Sun

Written By: Dan Molson

Verse 1
Sittin' in the summer sun, got lots to do but gettin' nothin' done.
I've got a feelin' of feelin' free, not gonna let the world bother me.

Chorus
It's great to be alive today (in the summer sun).
Let the wind take your cares away (you gotta love some one).
Good feelings are so strong (livin' for today).
Sittin' in the summer sun. (in the summer sun).

Verse 2
Headin' down an old dirt road,
not thinkin' of tommorrow or gettin' old.
At the creek on a summer night,
got your baby beside you and you're feelin' alright.

Chorus
It's great to be alive today (in the summer sun).
Let the wind take your cares away (you gotta love some one).
Good feelings are so strong (livin' for today).
Sittin' in the summer sun. (in the summer sun).

Solo

Chorus
It's great to be alive today (in the summer sun).
Let the wind take your cares away (you gotta love some one).
Good feelings are so strong (livin' for today).
Sittin' in the summer sun. (in the summer sun).

Verse 3
Sittin' in the summer sun, got lots to do but gettin' nothin' done.

No Way To Prove

Written By: Dan Molson

Verse 1
You know I might not make it 'till tomorrow.
I might not make it through the day.
Those strange powers,
they control me.
I may be free,
but I'm still a slave.

Chorus
But there's no way to prove,
no way to prove those things to you.
I know it's no big secret,
but what can a poor boy do.

Verse 2
There's always been wall around me.
They've been put up so secretly.
And they stop me from livin'.
The way that I am supposed to be.

Chorus
And it all seems so perfect,
but it's been corrupted so easily.
But there's no way to prove,
no way to prove those things to you.

Solo

Chorus
But there's no way to prove,
no way to prove those things to you.
I know it's no big secret,
but what can a poor boy do.

Verse 3
Maybe I'm just tellin' stories.
Sometimes it's hard to believe.
That the things that you count on,
they can break down so easily.

Chorus
And it all seems so perfect,
but it's corrupted so easily.
But there's no way to prove,
no way to prove those things to you.

Great expecations

Written By: Dan Molson

Verse 1
I could be a rebel if I wanted to.
I could sit and ponder the truth.
But why waste my mind on idle things?
I just wanna slide back into my dreams.

Chorus
'Cause we all know where we're goin'.
Some don't wanna take that ride.
Just tryin' to live up to expectations in thier minds.

Verse 2
Everyone's tryin' to be different,
instead of bein' who they are.
Those important things they suffer,
because confusion makes them fall.

Chorus
'Cause we all know where we're goin'.
Some don't wanna take that ride.
Just tryin' to live up to expectations in thier minds.

Verse 3
I think the hardest thing is stayin' the same,
and holdin' on to your point of view.
It's so easy to take the beatin' road.
It's even easier not to go.

Chorus
'Cause we all know where we're goin'.
Some don't wanna take that ride.
Just tryin' to live up to expectations in thier minds.

Gonna Be Alright

Written By: Dan Molson

Verse 1
Lonely days turn into lonely nights,
when I'm on the road.
The days go slow when I'm all alone.
And I'll be alright.

Chorus
This time it's gonna be alright,
yah I'm gonna think of you,
and it's gonna be alright.

Verse 2
I sit alone and watch the sunrise,
as the miles pass by.
And I pretend your right by my side,
and I'll be alright.

Chorus
This time it's gonna be alright,
yah I'm gonna think of you,
and it's gonna be alright.

Verse 3
The radio plays some forgotten song,
that I haven't heard for years.
And it reminds me of the distant past,
and I'll be alright.

Chorus x2
This time it's gonna be alright,
yah I'm gonna think of you,
and it's gonna be alright.

Home

Written By: Dan Molson

chorus
It's not by choice that I'm a roamin' man.
The midnight sky it lights my way.
Just not sure where i'm headin' for.
but if you'll wait for me i'll make it home.

Verse 1
The miles fly by out on the open road.
It seems like years but it's just been days.
Another round and i'll make it home.
I dream all week just to touch your face.

verse 2
I know it's hard but you understand.
It's not much fun but it's got to do.
things always change when your gone away.
It does no good to cry and complain

verse 3
If I could catch the sky i'd bring it home to you
and show you things that I have seen
you could tell me of your yesterdays
and someday i'll be back to stay.
