DAN

DAN is a 17-year-old pop singer-songwriter from Derry. Since early on he has always had a fascination with music and with his last EP, written, produced and everything you could think of being carried out solely by himself, it shows that he is a true artist with unique ideas. Dan was able to gain many plays on BBC Radio Ulster with the help of Gerry Anderson, and also did a live session on his show from the Belfast studio. His style has been compared to Marina and the Diamonds. With upbeat songs like Radio, Dan was able to achieve exactly what his songs suggested. He has performed a lot and supported artists such as Scroobius Pip and performed at the Other Voices music festival in Derry. Dan has recently release a new EP, entitled Gunshot, which is an even deeper venture into pop music and what he describes as ‘a range of styles that tell you my story, but in an artistic way’. With an original and exciting approach to music and performance, DAN provides a refreshing and exciting style.
