Biography: Danny Bolloré
Emerging onto the hip-hop scene at 24 years old, American recording artist/songwriter Danny Bolloré, also known as Danny B., has infiltrated the world of hip-hop.
The (Cake City) Los Angeles, CA native has always been a fan of music. He first became interested in music in elementary school where he played the trumpet for three years. Although he played instruments and loved music, Danny’s pursuit of being an artist/songwriter didn’t come until his Junior year in high school; though he didn’t seriously pursue it until he was 19.
“What inspired me to pursue music seriously was that it was something I had always wanted to do & I didn't want to be like a lot of people in my life who never pursued their dreams. I've also always been an above average essay/short story writer as well as a trumpet player so I saw music/songwriting as a mental challenge.”
Danny B.’s mission is to not only be a great artist, but to also be an even greater businessman. He admires artist like Gucci Mane, Jay Z, Kanye West and Cam’ron for their achievements as both artists and businessmen. He is also greatly influenced style wise by the previously mentioned artist.
Previously, Danny B. has worked on his own projects such as; CakeBoy: Je Suis Le COOL (2014) & Danny B. Featuring the West (2012) which featured the likes of fellow west coast artists Skeme, Casey Veggies, Reem Riches and more. He also wrote the chorus (hook) for Problem's Understand Me from "The Seperation" (2013) also featured on his "Understand Me" EP (2013).
