Bio

Danny Script’s launch on to the music scene upsets Hip-Hop’s status quo and stretches the idea of what an emcee is supposed to be.

Born in Far Rockaway, Queens, New York, Daniel Findlay (“Danny Script” or “Script” for short), seemed to have been born with a deep-seated curiosity that often led to trouble.

However, at an early age, Script learned to read. Unwittingly, this served to cultivate Script’s curiosity and instilled in him a fervent desire to learn and stay informed.

When Danny Script was 9 years old, he found himself captivated by a new found love interest – Music! He became particularly fond of Hip-Hop. Script often turned to other genres to satisfy his budding passion for music.

Thus, Script’s eclectic sound and versatile flow is influenced in part by a variety of other genres including Classical, Jazz, Blues, Reggae, and even Punk Rock.

Script's lyrics showcase a literary prowess, featuring an extensive vocabulary, and vast knowledge on a wide array of subjects. Script’s music is a reflection of an ever evolving reality.

Danny Script’s debut EP, (revolution)ary Revolution, was released on January 15th, 2013 and features the single “Crazy”.

Script’s single “Crazy” was released in October 2012 on digital outlets including iTunes and Amazon. "Crazy" gained Script exposure on the Hip-Hop scene and was featured on Rapzilla, Sphere of Hip Hop, and Heatcasters.

“Crazy” also received air time and radio play on 91.5fm WPRK’s Hip Hop radio show in Orlando, Florida and on 89.3fm WRFG Atlanta's Beatz and Lyrics show

Script discussed his music on 89.3fm WRFG with Beatz and Lyrics show host, Jay Force. Script was also invited as a guest to discuss the current state of Hip Hop with author Lana Reid on her radio show “Don’t Box Me In.”
