Bio

Born on February 19,1991 Danny Canales Son of Juan Canales and Maria Ramirez. Danny El Optimistico is known for his feature on the hit song "Dime Que Hago" by the duo Jimmy El Intocable & Kelvin El Inalcanzable, also featuring Eric D Advakidd, and Tito Flow. Danny was rasied around music. His father had a background of singing as well as his mother who danced and sang when they were children as well. Born in Arlington Va Danny Began singing when he was 5. Influenced by what his parents listened to but what he listened to the most was the backstreet boys with his brother. He didn't only listen to that he would expand his hearing to other sounds like, Ja rule, Aventura, Enrique Iglesias, and various others.

By the time he was 12 he got himself into singing in school plays. He was in his 4th school play which in his middle school at the time were working on "the music man". He got the roll of one of the triplets in the movie.By the end of his middle school year he wanted to leave with a surprise which was he was asked to rap the verse of Jay-Z from the song "Crazy in Love" by. Beyonce. When he did that everyone was amazed at what he could do.

3 years passed and Danny was know performing at his high school whenever there were things that involed singing. Danny at that point stayed with his singing began writing songs to instrumentals, but he didn't let anyone listen. He thought it wasnt the right time to begin that process of letting others listen to what he wrote. On his birthday his father bought him his 1st professional recording microphone. That was the moment Danny knew it was time to begin a new project with all the work he had been practicing his whole life for. At the end of his high school year Danny had recorded a song with his friend Eric (now known as Eric D Advakidd) to the instrumental "Overtime" by Ace Hood. They called the song "Prom Night" they performed this song at there prom. It was another level Danny reached with his passion of music.

Once Danny was out of high school he established a music company own by him called "Optimistic Records". The name came from one thing he always had on his mind "when things are bad just keep your head up and just know you tried". Later searched for a meaning that was close enough to what he believed at that moment a friend gave him the name Optimistic. Right there and there Optimistic records was born. The next step for Danny would be to find his artistic name he had various difficulties finding it till one day he said to himself "i am optimistic so how about optimistico in spanish" right there and then the artist was created Danny "El Optimistico" was what he would be known as from there till the end.

Danny had various influences his parents were a major part of his life so they played a very important part as all parents play in kids lives. Danny is very different to what you hear on the radio or anywhere. You will never find him talking about drugs, sex, or women in a disrespectful manner. He understands its what people use to sell music but he makes his hits off of reality. If he is going to involve those topics in any way he will do it in a important way. He released his first original album in June of 2010 called Danny "El Optimistico" Presents - Even In The Eyes Of Reality. It featured him as well as the artist in his company (Jimmy El Intocable & Kelvin El Inalcanzable", iLY & Miss Kay, Deadly Assasin).

Danny continues to work with his music, he has performed in various locations in the DMV area since he began working on original projects. He is known all over the DMV area for his hard work that he does. Danny Currently Works on his newest project "Professor O.P.T.I." which has no date to be dropped. He did release a single known as "En La Noche" translation "In the Dark" in Mid October. Expect much more from Danny "El Optimistico" on the rise Latin Artist in the DMV area and soon worldwide with his touch of music that is realistic.
