Biography
Danny Roman- born Erin Clark, April 6, 1969 in Chicago, Illinois moved to Lynwood, Ca. at the age of 8 where he developed a fondness of music. Influenced by artist such as, Parliament, Marvin Gaye, Zapp, Rick James and others, it was the beginning of Hip Hop that truly inspired Danny Roman to emerge as an artist. Formerly Gangsta Trick of the group PMHI, he came on the Hip Hop scene in the mid 90’s performing songs such as “Drop Like This B****”, “Ooh Lawd (Party People”), and other hits with then partner D.J.Smurf, currently known as Mr. Collipark. Danny Roman has always carried a balance of smoothness and toughness in his lyrical and performing style. After years of performing music known as “Booty Shake” or “Bass Music” with D.J. Smurf and MC Shy-D, Danny Roman felt a need to expand his horizons and return to his true roots that lie in hip hop. Danny Roman is now the CEO of Roman Empire Records LLC based in Mobile, Alabama, and is currently producing, developing and performing with up and coming artists such as, B-Nett, Massacre, Duke aka “Cali”, and others.
