Danny Widdicombe Ð Songwriter, singer, guitarist and cancer survivor. After living with leukaemia for 9 years, Danny had a bone marrow transplant and won the fight of his life.

ÒThe Transplant TapesÓ is a Òlovingly craftedÓ(Matt Thrower Ð Rave magazine) album of acoustic songs that Danny wrote and recorded during his recovery from this huge ordeal. Now, after two years since the transplant, the leukaemia is gone and the album is out nationally through MRA Entertainment.

Since the transplant, Danny has been the regular lead guitar player for Brisbane song writer Andrew Morris, played two critically acclaimed shows as Bernard FanningÕs lead guitarist and has led his band Dangerbird in shows around the country.

ÒThe Transplant TapesÓ is an inspiration to those who are affected in some way by this phenomenon that is cancer.
