We here at BBC love hearing some fresh new sounds, and Brooklyn duo, Da Nomads, got just that. Composed of Conplex & Billboard Brucee, the two have been making some noise in the the new york hip-hop underground scene. With their energy packed performances every night, this unsigned duo is now taking their skillz international as the representatives for USA in the World Championship for Performance Arts.
They sent us over their new tune “Dream State” (produced by Stimp C) and it is straight up a dope hip hop record. THere is no wonder why the track is called “Dream State”, the production is so beautiful with a dreamy vocal sample and piano melodies gracing the track throughout. All this sets up Conplex and Billboard Brucee to rip through the track with ease and flow.

With the buzz from our latest #musicfromfans campaign we finally had a chance to stop in NY. Two middle school best friends; neighbors, [ConPlex x BillboardBruce] they lived in the grimiest part of Brooklyn but the “lithest; east NY. Its not meant for the weak, they came together to create the group now known as the Danomads; Uncle Murder x Maino made it out of the pink houses!
ConPlex x BillboardBruce grew up in Linden Plaza; Right by the pink houses. rapping came natural for both of them at a young age. Conplex had a Cousin in Brooklyn who record most of his earlier materials in their basement.
Fast forward to 2015; Danomads have toughen their craft, with rich-radio worthy records. Punchy and clever lines that will get you thinking.
"Yung" is the self titled mix-tape that is set to drop in the end of June 2016. The media is sure to go crazy. A US and UK based hip-hop blog recently gave them a thumbs up!
They have been fortunate to rock out @ SOBs and Santos New York City earlier this year.
@snvlife, a new energy drink recently annouced sponsoring @danomads on their Instagram page. Danomads is in competition to play at AfroPunk summer 2016.
