Dan San Band

The self titled debut CD from the Dan San Band contains ten diverse songs with a sound influenced by classic Stevie Wonder, Steely Dan, The Doobie Brothers, The Police, Bruce Hornsby, Dave Mathews Band, Ben Folds, and Billy Joel. The band combines funky Fender Rhodes riffs, jazz/funk bass lines, rock drumming, and power-pop guitars with Dan Sanfilippo's smooth, melodic vocals for a totally unique mixture of sounds. The Dan San Band was formed in early 2004 while concieving and recording their first CD. They now perform at local venues and have sold hundreds of CDs at shows and online.
