Bio
After years of playing the Sydney rock and funk scene, Dan Segal bounded up his musical ruck-sack and set out to write and publish as much music as possible.
Some of his composing influences are: Prince, Debussy, Mahler, Bach, Pharell Williams, Ben Harper, Sting, Tim Finn, Moby, John Frusciante, Jack Johnson
Some of his musical credentials:
-wrote, performed and fronted his own band (Camera Four) for 4 years. www.myspace.com/camerafour
-wrote, recorded and produced a soundtrack for the popular Australian short film "JunkSpace"
-produced and co-wrote P.Willy's debut hip hop EP-performed and recorded as a session bass player around Sydney and Melbourne
-played every small and medium sized venue in Sydney.
-established great relationships with many of the gig bookers and performers of the Sydney music scene. made contacts in Paris and LA for possible future international expansion and promotion.
