BIO:
We are a 5 piece Indie Dance Rock band from Miami, Florida. Like any other person, or band, out there in the world, we enjoy the company of family, good friends and of course music. We consider those 3 things a very important part of our lives, and without the support of our family, wonderful friends and never ending library of music, we would not be where we are today.

Dánse Macabre was started on May 10th, 2009, by an email from Amanda (at the time Guitar/Vocals), better known as Bootsie, to Eddie (guitar/vocals) suggesting they put their rocky paths behind them and come together with a common goal. To create Music. He accepted.

With that aside it was time to find a drummer. Mauricio (Drums), Eddie's cousin, recently picked up the drums and was progressing remarkably fast. Eddie approached Mauricio about joining the group and he accepted. Next was a Bass player

Aaron Garcia had been a friend of Bootsie's throughout high school and so, he quickly accepted the offer when he was asked to join the project. The egg had hatched.

As the unnamed four piece they put together their first song, "Go Take a Lap, which would prove to be essential part of Dánse Macabre's set list in the future. Other songs that were born from the four piece were the inspiring, uplifting "Peace of Mind" and "Marked by Marks."

One day, Ryan (Trumpet/synth) stumbled of an airplane that had just arrived to Miami from Michigan. This was his new home. By chance Ryan encountered Eddie and once Eddie discovere that he played the trumpet, he was instantly asked to join the band. Ryan was in and Dánse Macabre was born, a couple weeks later when they finally decided on the name.

Dánse Macabre moved pretty quickly, developing a small but loyal fan base within their first couple of gigs, and going on tour only a couple months after their formation. The 5 show tour throughout Florida is an experience that none of them will ever forget. Touring Florida with fellow local Band Marks and stuffing 14 people into a standard hotel room is not something they will be forgeting anytime soon.

After returning home to Miami, Aaron left the band. There were no hard feeling between anyone, Aaron just wanted to focus more on his art and photos. Now left bassless Dánse Macabre turned to Eric Guitian, good friend of Mauricio and fellow musician. Eric had always been there for the band, attending all but one show, and even following them on the tour. Eric was excited when he was asked to join and quickly accepted the offer.

Originally Eric was brought on to Dánse to play Bass, but instead Bootsie took on the role of Bass player and Eric took over the guitar parts along with Eddie. This became the cohesive unit that is Dánse Macabre; Bootsie, Mauricio, Eddie, Ryan, and Eric.
