Dan Weaver

I play songs about broken hearts. My main influences are Bright Eyes and Matt Nathanson but I have many other minor influences. Many big named local bands have attached themselves to me so I have progressed very far in the short amount of time I've been playing.

I've been performing live since January 2006 at which time I had three songs written. My first show was attended by Torr from Condition K, Tara Tony and Eddie from Bo Bim, and Ty from the Gorgonites. I continued to play shows until Bo Bim asked me to open for them at Champion Ship in April 06. After that I took off and began playing 4-6 shows a month. I was, and still am, so committed to my music that I put off getting a broken arm set until my upcoming shows were all finished. I released my first self produced 8 song EP was released on August 11 2006 to a crowd of about 150 people. My fan base has continued to grow since then. At the moment I am on hiatus to work on my first LP which I already have half done.
