Dapp

From grade school, playing an upright bass that was bigger than he was, music has been in Dapp's blood for over two decades. Starting as a six-year old saxophone player before stepping up to the bass, Dapp is a born musician, picking up the complex symmetry of the four-stringed instrument with ease before finding his voice that would soon be accompanied by a bass guitar in one of many bands to follow.

A long history of assembling bands ranging from new age to rock to funk, Dapp has been a mad scientist of music, experimenting with rhythm and beat to create compelling melodic compositions that transcend the common chord. He has served as bassist and both lead and backup vocalist for bands like Mortal Men, Burndown All Stars, and The Blue Method. As Dapp continued to hone his sound, bringing the chemistry of his extraordinary finger stylings and rich, soulful vocals together, he decided to go out on his own as a singer/songwriter.

Currently in the studio recording his first solo album, Dapp has blended a broad mix of musical styles into a creative cocktail that goes down smooth and leaves you wanting more. A 2008 release is planned of what is sure to be a harmonious fusion of fortitude and fire with a twist of bittersweet intensity and a hearty dose of raw passion.
