The Kazakhstan group "Dara" (Almaty, Moscow).
Music Group "Dara" synthesis of sounding of the East and the West, transfer of feelings, the emotions, positively adjusted energy. These are ancient melodies of nomads which in sounding of modern instruments became the present highlight of group. Group "Dara" has been based in 1996 in Almaty by the known guitarist in Republic Kazakhstan and composer Muhtar Sunnatov.
The group successfully combines two basic directions — a writing of picturesque author's pop songs and bewitching Turkic world music (national Kazakh and author's compositions of Muhtar Sunnatov). In group repertoire also jazz, jazz-rock and funk compositions, lyrical melodies and ballads.
«In the Kazakh people there is a legend about a high-mountainous flower. Many soldiers tried to break courageously it for favourite and by that to win its heart, but nobody has managed to make it. The proud flower remained untouched. Have passed a century, but also today somewhere far-far this still grows in mountains unique on beauty and inaccessibility a flower by name"Dara".
The name to group was given by its author, Muhtar Sunnatov. In transfer from the Kazakh language of "Dara" means originality, an originality, singularity.
