G’day Darby, I just received your CD at 2 WAY FM through AMRAP. I would like to congratulate you on a fine CD. Your vocals, the backing musicians, songwriting and production are outstanding. I will certainly be giving it some airplay during my 100% Australian Country Music Program and I will recommend it to the other eight country music presenters at our station. Congratulations on a great CD and I wish you every success with it. Regards, Ken”Chainsaw” Lindsay Program Manager Hastings Community Radio FM Assoc. Inc. 2 WAY FM “ - GeeDub Studios

Bio

My music is inspired by the loves, stories and experiences that I have had the good fortune to have had throughout my life.

My greatest songwriting influences come from a lot of years listening to the likes of James Taylor, Vince Gill, The Eagles and basically anything with a country rock edge to it.

Because I'm not a young and up and coming star in the making I have time in the industry on my side. The players in my 4 piece band are all professional players and all have been using the music industry for a living for most of there life as well,
so with the wealth of playing experience behind us, makes the band a very tight unit indeed.

My initial idea was to record an album so I would have some evidence that I could actually write a song that people might like, but as it turned out, the songs on the album sounded pretty damn good (even if I do say so myself) so in saying that I have taken the initiative on behalf of myself and "Facin' the Crowd" to see if anyone else around the world might like to hear what we have done with these songs.
Even though we might be a band of middle aged men, I know for sure we still have something to offer.
