Biography

As the music industry embarks on a new era of emcees, rapper MIZZ is destined to leave her own imprint in the game. Her versatility and dynamic stage presence puts MIZZ in a league of her own. MIZZ is able to captivate her audience in a way that many indie Hip-hop acts may not. MIZZ is a true "Master of Ceremony", a lyrical phenom representing hip hop. With strong delivery and cinematic story telling flows, MIZZ knows how to work the stage and make the crowd move with her raw talent and incredible stage presence. MIZZ has had the opportunity to do opening shows for numerous of artist (including Tech Nine, Sean Paul of Young Bloodz, Huey, Shawnna of DTP, Lil Ru, Louisiana Cash, & more).

In 2013, MIZZ was signed with Live Wire Entertainment with label mate Bobbe’ J Thompson. Being signed with the label MIZZ wrote songs for other artist, booked shows, create graphic designs, and help implement marketing strategies for the label as well as clothing boutique. When the company decided to close, MIZZ ventured off and decided to pursue her own music group, Fly Muzikc, which was founded by MIZZ 2009. MIZZ being an independent artist has accomplished many goals. With dreams of landing the right deal MIZZ is pushing significantly to get where she wants to be.

MIZZ first hit single "Go To Work" has been in rotation on numerous of radio stations including Hot 103 Jamz Underground Heat, making the top 20 Count Down selling well over 10,000 cds in single sells. MIZZ has being featured on plenty of DJ mixtapes including Freeway Rick Ross "From L.A to KC" and Coast To Coast. Her new smash single, “Giggin" which features one of Kansas City's best dance group "Poison" is spinning in numerous of venues and radios as well. .

MIZZ shows versatility, making music for all ages and genres. MIZZ definitely has what it takes to be the "Next To Blow". MIZZ says "I make fun music that everyone can dance to and also real music that people can relate to such as "Walk In My Shoes. Not only am I a hip hop artist, have I also written music for other genres such as pop, gospel, and r&b". MIZZ has been writing her own music since the age of 8, winning plenty of talent shows and battle show cases. MIZZ is also featured on the "KC Cypher" series 2 episode 3 2014.
