Da Red AdmiRAW (aka 'The MO Amper' Commander) has been active in the poetry and hip-hop arenas around the USA since 1991 out of Chicago, Illinois. He is preparing to release his 3rd album SOUL 7 I AMZ in 2014. His publishing efforts peaked at #4 on Billboard's Top R&B / Hip-Hop albums in June 2010 for the song Ballad of The Black Gold on Talib Kweli and Hi-Tek's Revolutions Per Minute Album. Since 2000 he has been a poetry radio personality for RENAISSANCE RHYTHMS radio show which was the first Poetry / NEO-Soul /Hip-hop media content provider for WORLD SPACE DIGITAL SATELLITE RADIO (2001) and later the host of DPJ Radio of Russel Simmon's DEF Poetry. He radio show has broadcasted in Chicago, as well as, Charleston and Greenville, SC. He continues to make a presence throughout poetry portals like the Spoken Word Expo in St. Louis, Missouri; and Spoken Word Festivals like The Pan-African Film Festival hosted at Magic Johnson Theaters in Los Angeles. He has been a featured poet, writer, and point of reference for the HOUSE of BLUES in Chicago, the Chicago Defender, Chicago Sun-Times, and Tennessean Newspapers.
