Bio

In 2006 he founded a production house called VesnaHaus. A long series of international collaborations have turned VesnaHaus into a spontaneous, unpredictable and heterogeneous movement of artists. Still not well-known in Italy, he was, in the last years, extensively touring in Russia, Spain, Serbia, Thailand and Japan.
His music has been often compared to artists as diverse as David Sylvian, Nick Cave, Mike Patton, Brian Eno, Robert Fripp, Björk and Meredith Monk.

PAGÀNA INTERNATIONAL TOUR STARTING JUNE 2012
Pagàna Tour integrates projected images of the archaic rituals of Carrasecare in the island of Sardinia. Carrasecare, which literally means “to dismember living flesh,” is a complex of memorials and cults of Dionysus, god of vegetation and ecstasy, torn to pieces and eaten by the Titans.
The rituals embody sounds, but the masks that compose Carrasecare are dumb.
Sounds of animal bones, bells and chains announce capture.
In a way that is sinister and violent, tragic and carnal, these pagan rituals mimic death awaiting rebirth.
The sounds and music of Pagàna weave flexible structures with a large degree of improvisation. Ethnic music, post-jazz, sound art and live electronics meet between tradition and innovation. Pagàna Tour will cross different continents, involving different musicians for each performance and bringing together seemingly distant genres and languages.
