Honestly, where we come from, the music scene has grown boring. People need songs that they can feel in their gut when they sing them at the top of their lungs. Kids want musicians they can relate to, not distant, larger-than-life rockstars. We bring the soul back to the heavy music scene, creativity back to hardcore, and brotherhood back to mosh and dance pits.
We try to bring a fresh, funk+hardcore sound to the market, write songs that are both catchy and meaningful, plan crazy stage antics and surprises, and maintain a standard of good musicianship--but the heart of what we do is our live show. We often challenge our audiences to try and create as much chaos on the floor as we do on the stage, and it's usually a draw. Venue owners have often commented on how many people follow us to our shows. Other bands have told us that they always love playing with us because we always move the crowd. At bottom, we are genuine, fun-loving band with a passion for music and a love for meeting new people.
If you listen to our music, be sure to note the diversity in our music from the groovy sound of "Phone," to the heavy "Sailor" with the sick breakdown at the end, to the especially funky "Overboard."
