Lance Williams has been playing and writing music for several years, and is now fronting an acoustic-driven five-piece modern rock band called Darling Waste. The band has officially released their debut, The Truth About Lies, on their own 10-34 record label.
Darling Waste’s music is gritty yet emotional with introspective lyrics, striking a balance between the likes of Dashboard Confessional, Our Lady Peace, Counting Crows and Third Eye Blind. With Williams it’s all about the songs. He has a knack for taking his own life experiences and making the listener feel as if they’ve been there before, or that he’s writing the song just for them or someone they know.
The music scene in Cleveland continues to churn out exceptional songwriting talent, and Lance Williams is part of that emergence. The Truth About Lies is being targeted to college and modern rock radio stations regionally and Darling Waste plans to tour extensively in support of the release.
