Os the Darma Lóvers were born in 1999 in extreme south of Brazil when

Irínia & Nenung –inspired by their Tibetan meditation teacher decided to translate into music their experiences as meditators living in this turbulent world .
Then, they began to do some spontaneous mixing of rock´n´roll basis with poetry and Brazilian music, influences that resulted in a sweet , psychodelic & tropicalist sound.
In 2000 the 1st album is launched: “Os the Darma Lóvers “ , simple, rich , pure & completely organic ,without any drums or studio effects. It becomes a classic in theBrazilian underground circuit.
In 2002 the 2nd Cd comes:” Básico “, with more experience of grooves and electronic interventions. At the same time, Nenung was invited to undergo a traditional
long meditation retreat. He undergoes: priorities…so, for 2 years Os Lovers were off-road .
In the first rays of 2005, they are back to finish their 3rd album working with 12 of the best musical producers of Brazil to do an amazing ,colorful and magical music patchwork: “Laranjas do Céu“ goes beyond the expectations and beyond the frontiers and was released in France in 2008 by Nacopajaz records (www.nacopajaz.fr), while they were in a tour in the French territory. It was chosen as one of the 10 best albums of 2008 by the Parisian newspaper Libèration .

“Simplesmente´ – their 5th album - was launched in 2009, a landmark in their maturity as a band and as composers, which shows the deepest poetry of modern
Brazilian music.
Produced by Kamal Kassin (Caetano Veloso, Adriana Calcanhoto & Vanessa da Mata) and released by Dubas / Universal Music’s partnership, this CD will surely
be a reference of a new era.
Now they are finishing their new album called “SPACE” more surprises & a lot of joy will come …
