Lyrics

Going To The Roadhouse

Written By: Darren Dowler

Tonight we're gonna' step out, gonna let our hair down, looking for a wild good time.
Gonna' grab some food, drink a beer maybe two, watch the girls dance down the line.
Ya' know the got the game on, the bar is hopping hot dog, a night I'll remember so long.
Like I said we're gonna step out, and listen to those country sounds, and party with my friends all night long.

Chorus:
Going to the Roadhouse, eat em' up. drink em' down,
Gonna dance across the floor.
Tilt em' back, slam em' down, jamming to those country sounds, Till I can't take it no more.

Rap:
Side step, shuffle stomp, tilt em' back, country romp, clap your hands, grab your sides, twist twist twist, to the sides.

Chorus:

Tonight we're gonna' step out. gonna' let our hair down, looking for a rowdy good time.
Hanging with my kin, my family and friends, watch the gang dance down the line.
We're gonna bring our "A" game, till it ends, what a shame,
A night we'll remember so long.
Like I said we're gonna step out, and listen to those country sounds, and party with my friends all night long.

Chorus:

When We Were Young

Written By: Darren Dowler

Verse 1:
Back in school, when things were great, swimming pools and rollerskates.
We had so much fun back when we were young.

We like to party, we like to dance. Part time jobs and sweet romance.
Girl you made me sweat, back when we were young.

Chorus:
When we were young and things were cool, didn't have to work, played ball after school.
How did it go by so fast, where has time gone?
When we were young and we ran wild, but I guess that's yesterday's child.
Where did it all go so fast when we were young?

Verse 2:
The smell of lip gloss and cheap perfume, we weren't allowed in each other's rooms. We had so much fun, back when we were young.
We stayed out late and stuck in bars, dancing and drinking and loud guitars. We had life on the run, back when we were young.

CHorus 2:
When we were young and we ran free. Life was such a dichotomy.
Where has it all gone to, where has life gone?
When we were young and we ran wild, but I guess that's yesterdays child.
How has it gone by so fast? Where did it all go at last. Life was always such a blast, when we were young.

Repeat Chorus 2
