Bio

São Paulo based power-trio Das Fossem came from the partnership among composer and multi-instrumentalist Leo Loebenberg (vocals, bass and keyboards), guitarist and record producer Mauricio Cajueiro and drummer / percussionist Daniel Gohn.

Daniel Gohn's a bachelor of Music at Unicamp, PhD and Master by ECA / USP, has published the books "Auto-aprendizagem Musical: Alternativas Tecnológicas" ("Musical Self-learning: Technological Alternatives") and "Educação Musical à Distância" ("Distance Music Education"). He has studied with Michael Lauren, Kim Plainfield, Jayme Pladevall, José Eduardo Nazario and Lilian Carmona and attended three years at Drummers Collective school in New York. Has taken part in the production of educational videos by Hudson Music and Warner Bros.. He worked as a percussionist in Sao Paulo musical theater and is a member of the drums quartet Casa de Marimbondo and percussion trio Os Tribores.

Leo Loebenberg began as a keyboard player and singer in the traditional Black Jack, later graduating from the University of São Paulo and specializing in vocal techniques at the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles. There, he wrote the method of arrangement for the Vocal Institute of Technology. In parallel, he develops his career as a composer with the contemporary French composer Sophie Lacaze. Throughout his career, he has followed renowned artists such as Violeta de Outono and Alejandro Sanz, has attended awards and festivals, and has worked with leading names in the world of classical music, like Nadia Ratsimandresy and OFF (Orchestre de Flûtes Français).

Mauricio Cajueiro studied at the Colorado Music School in Denver, and completed the guitar course at LA Music Academy in Los Angeles. He studied the Recording Engineering course at UCLA. He worked as a guitarist, producer and engineer in the best studios in Los Angeles and with big names in music such as Glenn Hughes, Eddie Kramer, Vicente Barreto, Dori Caimmy, Steve Vai, Airto Moreira, Eric Sardinas and Frank Gambale, among others. Also participated in three works nominated for Grammy Awards.
