dj,beatmaker,producer,writer, pick your poison known as groove damoast to some, fredyblast to others, i've been involved in the game one way or another for 30yrs. i was the original dj for will smith then known as the fresh prince along with lord supreme and jamie fresh we composed the crew dj groove and the hypnotic mc's. i toured the country back in the days with jazzy jeff,the juice crew,salt n pepa,heavy d, big daddy kane etc.. in 1987 i competed in the new music seminar battle for world supremacy. in 2000 i was inducted into the philly hip hop hall of fame along side jazzy jeff,scholly d,dj cash money.in 97 i co hosted and co produced with bahamadia a fm radio show called b-sides.in 2002 i co created the hip hop internet radio show called the formula along with partners skeme richards and dj primetime collectivly known as sesion31 wich is still heard ever sunday @radiovolta.org 1pm-3pm. i was the 2004 central atlantic divisional winner of thescion free up your mix contest. i have toured in japan with philly native japan recording artist steph pockets. i have done production work with bahamadia,m.f. doom.el da sensei,steph pockets,cormega,will smith. dj cash money currently i do a monthly podcast tilted the supagenius cereal show@fredyblast.podomatic.com it features dj mixes of soul,hip hop,funk original remixes and theme oriented sets. be on the lookout for the supagenius cereal show album loosely based on my podcast
