Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Ashley Thomas aka Dat Gurl Secrete, is a local up-and-coming female rap artist beginning to make waves in the Atlanta music-scene. As a youngster, Dat Gurl Secrete began rapping as a hobby with childhood friends. However, in 2014, Dat Gurl Secrete began pursuing her career as a female rap artist. Dat Gurl Secrete has opened for various artists such as Paul Wall. In January 2016, Dat Gurl Secrete released her first independent single entitled, "Smoked Out". She went on to release her second independent single, "Ain't Ya Average" in February 2016. Dat Gurl Secrete has began to create a major buzz with her new hit single, "No Rules" produced by well-known producer MaxPayne Shawty. Dat Gurl Secrete is currently whdkpkanorking on her new EP entitled "Truth Be Told" which is scheduled for release in 2017.
