Data Dog are (I think) a duo from (I would totally bet) Brooklyn who make ambient electropop. This track, “Colour Bomb” is quite good, if pretty seriously minimal. - Mojo Republik

Data Dog mixes minimal electronic, noisy pop and synth heavy beats into a kaleidoscopic slice of indie rock. Data Dog colours their songs with vocal harmonies, erratic samples and skittering beats creating a unique blend of styles that turns ideas from all over the musical map onto their heads.
Data Dog's live show is a sight to behold in itself; an energetic barrage of texture, melody, and rhythm (accompanied by their own pixelated lighting setup) creating the sonic/visual landscape by which they navigate.
