J- NICE

From the mean streets of Brooklyn, J-Nice has fought every step to get where he is. To be respected he had to fight, to be accepted he had to be himself and himself only. And he has delivered by using his talent to tell his story. The good, the bad, and the original. J-Nice Grew up in the bushwick section of Brooklyn, surrounded by drugs
and violence J-Nice found a creative way to vent his anger and
frustration. Although he wrote rhymes and recited them in school and
throughout the neighborhood he did not become serious about becoming a
rapper until his senior year in high school. He performed at his high
school talent show and received a standing ovation. It was at this
moment that his life changed. J-Nice started working in the studio for
the rest of the year on his first mixtape Aint Nuthin Sweet Vol.1
working in studios with grammy award nominee Dot Da Genius, Kervens
Lee, and Andrew
Krivonos. Aint Nuthin Sweet was released in September of 2006 to great
reviews and good fan response. J-Nice finished up promo of his mixtape
by performing numerous times at the Remote Lounge with Lil Mama, and
Papoose headlining the event. J-Nice started to work on the follow up
to Aint Nuthin Sweet Vol.1 immediately but took a break to focus his
attention on the birth of his daughter. Realizing that his time was
now, he put all of his focus and determination into his new mixtape
Aint Nuthin Sweet Vol.2 receiving a strong buzz from his single Wat U
Waitin 4 featuring Gordy Gordo. The single is currently featured on
Power 105.1 website under new artist page, as well as many online
radio stations. There is no denying that J-Nice exudes talent,
creativity, originality, and versatility. It is those features why his
fans love him and he promises to never stray away from those
qualities.
