Lyrics

Okay Bores Me

Written By: Ali Young and Mike Datz

Watched you walk to the door
You could barely put your hand on the knob
We’re breaking-up but I’m not being cruel
It’s not goodbye it’s just I’m freeing up my schedule

It was oka ----- y
While it lasted
It was oka ---- y
But it wasn’t fantastic

Not what you'd pay a ticket to see
On a movie screen
On a Saturday
It was just okay
It was just okay
Just oka-----y
Not what you would
Pull a muscle to get to
Running in high-heel shoes
On the freeway
It was just okay
- and Okay bores me!

There’s nothing you could buy me at the mall
I’ve seen it all before - there’s nothing unusual
Cancun and Cabo - springbreak for the bourgeoisie
Check me in Paris while you’re flexing on MTV

We were oka ----- y
For a minute
We were oka ---- y
I just wasn’t that into it

Not what you'd pay a ticket to see
On a movie screen
On a Saturday
It was just okay
It was just okay
Just oka-----y
Not what you
Would pull a muscle to get to
Running in high-heel shoes
On the freeway
It was just okay
And okay bores me!

There’s no regret
You’re too cute for that
I could take a bath in your clear blue eyes
But I can’t make a night out of checking the gel in your hair
It’s such a yawn – now I’m gone

I got your flowers and I hung them out to dry
We could get coffee but I won’t get with you tonight
C’mon we’re friends - so you gotta be cool
It’s not goodbye it’s just –

Not what you'd pay a ticket to see
On a movie screen
On a Saturday
It was just okay
It was just okay
Just oka-----y
Not what you
Would pull a muscle to get to
Running in high-heel shoes
On the freeway
It was just okay

Not what you’d pay a ticket to see
On a movie screen
It was just okay
And Okay Bores Me!
