Bio
My name is Dave Ormsby and I'm a UK based session drummer.
I've been playing both live and in the studio regularly since I was 13, have toured and recorded with a wide range of artists including Louis Berry/Natalie McCool/Tom Ashbrook/Mark McGann, Grammy award winning producers Steve Fitzmaurice, Adrian Bushby & Steve Levine as well as companies such as the BBC/Channel 4/Sony Music and Eurovision.
Last year I built a home studio, The Basement for remote recordings which has grown from strength to strength, gaining a high volume of clients and has most recently been used by the BBC for it's latest musical production alongside the BBC Philarmonic Orchestra.
I have a huge passion for recording in the studio with as wide a range of artists as possible, helping to build songs and experimenting with sounds & ideas as much as possible, I'm extremely grateful I've been able to successfully do that over the past decade.
