Dave Edmunds

BandAlternative

With a history rich in the traditions of rock & roll, Dave Edmunds has made a place for himself as one of the most-respected guitarists, songwriters, producers and bandleaders of the last 30 years.

Biography

With early hits like "Sabre dance" with Love Sculpture, to classics like "I Knew the Bride" and "Girls Talk" with Rockpile, Edmunds has pioneered a path on rock radio only equaled by the artists who he has produced. Working in this capacity with such acts as the Stray Cats ("Stray Cat Strut", "Rock This Town" and more) and the Fabulous Thunderbirds ("Tuff Enuff") Dave brought his rockabilly sound to a new generation of rockers while maintaining a contemporary edge that would make the likes of Gene Vincent proud.

Currently Dave's passion is a return to his roots, so to speak. Early influences such as Chet Atkins and Jerry Reed, have been the focus of Dave's current studio work and live performances. This inspiration was initially triggered by his friendship with Australian guitarist extraordinaire, Tommy Emmanuel.

A divers range of material, mixed with Dave's classic hits and stunning guitar work, creates a dynamic show that brings audiences to their feet. Dave is thrilling his old fans and winning new ones with every performance.
