The music of Dave Gosdin and his group of legendary pickers is best defined as pure unadulterated country of the Bakersfield honky tonk variety Caught somewhere in the twilight zone between Buck Owens and the Maddox Brothers lies The Dave Gosdin Band

Gosdin"....Yes, that's certainly a name to be reckoned with. Dave comes from an extremely musical family. His father, Rachel "Mutt" Gosdin and his mother, Ophelia Gosdin were a part of a gospel quartet which included his uncle, Hervel Gosdin and Ruth Gosdin. David started as a young boy traveling and singing with his family. After starting his family and spending many years working in the auto industry, David decided to do what made him feel complete. Thus , forming the "Dave Gosdin Band". Soon after forming the band, David saw a large fan base following him around Georgia. With his fans fueling his "FIRE" , David has been spending alot of time in Nashville, making spot appearances all over Music Row. During one of his trips to Nashville, he met the phenomenal , ChrisCasello and the "Starlight Drifters". David soon decided, with much pressure from fans, family and friends, that it was time to cut his first CD. David and Chris went into the studio with the band and cut a demo titled, Dave Gosdin: My Legacy, as a tribute to his musical roots. The most successful Gosdin in the music industry thus far has been his uncle, country music legend, VERN GOSDIN. David was born in Tuscaloosa , Alabama and now resides in the Atlanta , Ga. area. David plays a Takamini Acoustic Electric Guitar and has been called "The Perfect Country Front Man". Standing by his traditional country roots, David seems to have inherited the Gosdin "VOICE", as his heartfelt vocals are like no other. When he breaks strong into a song, he pours his heart and soul into every note he sings.
