Dave Grinnell

Started playing guitar at the age of fifteen; guitarist and songwriter Dave began his journey to music when growing up listening to his uncle's local band from California. Dave became strongly influenced by his uncle's music that he hoped maybe one day he could be like him. From an early age Dave picked up the drums just like his uncle, but Dave soon found out that the drums wasn't his suit. Through Dave's childhood years he started listening to other types of music that began to influence him.  From listening to these different styles Dave began to have a strong keen urge to play the guitar. Finally in the Christmas of 2006 Dave received his first guitar.

In 2008 Dave began playing local gigs around his hometown like at the DiJulius Cafe, The Dugout, and The Tavern Off of Broadway.  Many began to recognize Dave's guitar and songwriting ability after impressing many at the local talent shows his school would host.  In 2010, Dave entered the Tri-C High School Rock-Off being only one of the five solo acts that made it to the Rock-Off.  Dave placed in the top five of the semifinals soon releasing his first album that summer "Better Days Longer Nights."  

His single of the album "Emily" was featured on a radio show in Germany called "The Crazy Sim Zan Show."  With the success of his first album Dave released his second album "History Warfare" in 2011.  That year, Dave reentered the High School Rock-Off placing in the top five yet again.  Later that year his single from his second album "The Girl from Jersey" landed Dave an opportunity to perform in Nashville, TN at SoundCheck Studios for a possible indie or major record label.  

Not able to get signed Dave continued to hone on his craft of songwriting releasing a third album "Spit of Tears."  With the album not as successful as the others Dave continued writing songs.  Finally, the release of his fourth album "Dreams of Prosperity" in 2012 launched Dave onto the German radio show "The Crazy Zim San Show" with his single "Beautiful Love."  With the success of the album Dave in the summer of 2013 landed an opportunity to record a live acoustic album at Blue Light Digital Sound.  The album "Blue Light Sessions" was successful and Dave began to performing more locally at Brother's Lounge and the Phantasy Nite Club.
