The term 'Rising Artist' would best explain Irish songwriter, Dave Morrissey whos journey so far has seen a very successful debut album release entitled 'Bring Out The Light' in 2010, followed up by his 2011 Summer single 'Butterfly' and most recently, the Christmas single 'Red Moon' all doing very well on itunes to this day!

Most definitely one of Irelands hardest working musicians, Dave has toured every corner of the country several times over the last few years and 2012 is no different as plans to hit the festival circut this Summer are afoot once more!

Having worked with many great Irish acts such as Imelda May, Mundy, Jack L, Damien Dempsey, The Hot House Flowers, Picture House and currently touring with Aslan, Dave Morrissey is a force to be reckoned with and easily commands and entertains any audience both as a solo act or with his new six piece band 'Studio 65'. There's not many new artists who can say that they played the Olympia and Vicar Street to full houses in one year and totally ripped up the stage...... SOLO!

This year sees Dave and band launching a series of full headline gigs across Ireland and abroad starting with the big one in Prague this March 15-18th where they will perform in the Akropolis Palace and do a special open air gig in the city centre on Saint Patricks Day as part of the 'Caffreys Irish Music Festival. Gigs in the UK and Europe are also being planned and a special acoustic tour to New York also.
