Biography

Dave Russell is a songwriter-singer who feels most at home in the warm embrace of an acoustic guitar and a song in his heart. The songs on this page were performed by a band Dave fronted called “The Tree Streets”. TTS had some success and opened up for acts such as The Trews, Arkells, Matt Mays + El Torpedo, Two Hours Traffic, April Wine, The Joys, and Hello Operator among others. Dave is now focusing on releasing a solo ep in August 2010, along with a tour. In January 2010, Dave did a cross Canada tour with Marty Oblak, and in April 2010 Dave opened up for The Spades for two dates on their Subatomic CD release tour.
