Dave Williford Band

Take a little rockin piano, throw in some bluegrass sounds, add a touch of jazz, heat it up with christian country lyrics and you have the ingredients for a great musical experience! You also have the Dave Williford Band from from Jefferson City, MO. Dave cut his musical teeth listening to a broad range of musical styles and in his words, "liked em all!" He taught himself to play piano at age 10 and soon became the worship leader at his home church. Also a songwriter, Dave writes most of the material the band performs and has had several charting songs on the Singing News radio charts. In 2003 Dave's wife Becky joined him on stage as a backup vocalist creating tight harmonies and unique arrangements. Gospel vocalist, Australia Johnson, joined in 2009 adding a trio element to the band and singing some lead parts as well. Rounding out the band for a stirring performance is bass guitar player Steve Allbritton whose playing can only be described as "incredible" and his son Jeremy on the drums.
