Discography

I have a few dozen complete, professionally demoed songs in my catalogue,
another twenty or so in progress, and stacks of lyrics in
some form of completion awaiting co-writers.
I've won (or placed) in a variety of local and
national song contests, I've written (and am writing)
with a few "hit" songwriters in Nashville, I have
some publishers and A&R folks who will listen, and
even had a couple songs "on-hold", but I'm still waiting
for that first cut!

Bio

I was born and raised in South Central PA. My parents always listened to George, Tammy, Tom T. Hall and the other greats. That's unless they were entertaining. Then, after a few beers, the turntable got stacked with DooWop. Mom loves to jitterbug. I never really got into that, but the country stuff...I remember being enthralled with stories like Harper Valley PTA and Ode To Billy Joe. They made an impression that stuck.
That's what I try to do today. Write songs that tell a story and make an impression.
I've been writing for over ten years, basically as a glorified hobby. The last few years I've been trying to take it to next level. I write with a bunch of incredibly talented people from LA, Texas, my current home state of Virginia, and of course Nashville (with great writers like Thom Shepherd, Jamie Teachenor, and Dave Laitiolais) I make trips to Nashville every couple months and have the good fortune to be able to hop on a plane and be there whenever I need to.

The Eight Inch Jimmie thing...
As a former Graphic Designer, I just had to have some
sort of logo. I spend a lot of time on the Chesapeake Bay (being on the boat crabbing may be my most favorite thing in this world) so I came up with this.
A "Jimmy" is waterman slang for a mature male crab.
One that measures eight inches is a doozy. Big, fat
and heavy. To me, it's like songwriting. Just doing it is
a blast, and every now and then you come up with a
great one. An eight-inch Jimmy.
