Bio
David Becan and Ammo for the Poor came together when member Rick "Rock" Merlo set up a "jam session" at his trailer. Ammo instantly clicked and their style blended together flawlessly. With the creative talent of Executive Producer Erik "E-Rock" Lawrence, Ammo's signature sound was beautifully born. Lead singer David Becan had been singing R&B,Hip Hop, and Reggae for years. Joining with the band brought his song writing to a new plateau. The crew is made up of rappers/producers Paper Chase'N, Phobie 1, PO, David Becan-- singers- David Becan, Erik "E-Rock" Lawrence-- reggae artists- Ras, and rockers-- Erik "E-Rock" Lawrence, Rick "Rock" Merlo, David Becan, X. This blend of genres help Ammo stay different and influential throughout the music industry.
